In this third week of February, we in Atlanta find ourselves in the throes of the coldest air so far this season. Like you, we at Trusted CFO Solutions are staying busy, yet taking advantage of these cozy indoors winter moments to reflect on recent experiences.
It has been a busy few months, particularly for our co-founder, Dixie McCurley. She was excited to co-present workshops in October 2014 and February 2015 in Atlanta at The Georgia Society of CPAs, sponsored by the AICPA and CPA.com, with the goal of helping CPAs to move their client accounting practice to the cloud. Helping other CPAs improve their practice by implementing vital, innovative technologies is a passion for Dixie.
In October, Dixie McCurley was honored with an invitation to serve for two years on the Intacct Accountants Program Advisory Council (IAPAC). The purpose of the IAPAC is to create a collaborative connection among Intacct, CPA.com, and Intacct Accountants Program (IAP) partners to discuss issues of mutual interest and, in an advisory capacity, help develop ideas that will improve the IAP and increase the success of all stakeholders.
In December, Dixie was thrilled to present two sessions at AICPA and CPA.com’s Digital CPA 2014 Conference in Washington, D.C., one each in the business program and the technical program. In the first, Dixie gave key guidance, strategy, and decision-making tips on how to best match a firm’s differentiated skillsets with a firm’s ideal client. In the second, she co-presented how to think “outside the box” in designing KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) for clients to best aid them in understanding their businesses’ financial situation, how to respond, and to help grow their businesses.
We at Trusted CFO Solutions are thrilled to be in the position we are this winter – continuing to do exemplary work for our amazing clients, as well as providing leadership in the Digital CPA and Business Advisory realms. We send you warm thoughts this winter, and hope that 2015 exceeds your dreams!
