Buckhead Grand Opening of Chicken Salad Chick by Atlanta-based Origin Development Group

It’s the seventeenth location in Georgia and the seventh location of  Chicken Salad Chick with Origin Development Group, an Atlanta-based developer, co-founded by Darren W. Devore, Managing Partner and Lauren Fernandez, President and Operating Partner.

On June 27, 2017, Trusted CFO Solutions joined the Chicken Salad Chick franchise team, Lauren Fernandez, President; Stacey Brown, Founder of the Brand, Frankie Pahner, for the grand opening festivities. The Chicken Salad Chick concept started in Auburn, Alabama in 2008 in the kitchen of Founder, Stacy Brown. Chicken Salad Chick serves “chicken salad with heart and strives to spread joy, enrich lives and serve others every day.” Today, the brand has 70 locations in the Southeast. The brand was recently named as the top chicken salad in the country to try in the 2015 March/April issue of Cooking with Paul Deen, as well as one of FastCasual.com’s top Movers and Shakers and one of NRN’s 2015 Breakout Brands.

Scott Deviney is the CEO of Chicken Salad Chick, and the majority investment partner is Eagle Merchant Partners. Founded by Stacy and Kevin Brown from Auburn, Alabama in 2008, there are 70 restaurants in 9 states. Eighty percent of the stores are franchises with systemwide sales of $54M.

Currently, there are 12 corporate-owned stores. Plans are to open 20-30 more stores in 2017, keeping a 20/80 mix. The average unit volume is $1M with an average seat count of 80 people per 2,730 square feet.
