FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Atlanta, Georgia 14th November, 2013
A leading voice on transformative changes within the accounting profession, Dixie McCurley of Trusted CFO Solutions, LLC in Atlanta, GA joins a dynamic group of advisors empaneled for the 2013 Digital CPA Conference, sponsored by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and its technology subsidiary, CPA2Biz.
Now in its second year, the 2013 Digital CPA conference offers a path to action for firms looking to embrace cloud solutions to build new lines of business beyond traditional tax and audit practices.
This year’s event will be held Nov. 20-22 at the Gaylord National Resort in Washington, D.C., and offers a blend of hands-on sessions and thought-provoking presentations. Bestselling business author Simon Sinek will be a keynote speaker, along with tech strategist Geoffrey Moore.
“We’re thrilled to have such a distinguished lineup on our conference advisory panel,” said Erik Asgeirsson, president and CEO of CPA2Biz. “These are names you know well or will be getting to know a lot better soon. If you’re talking about technology, the future of firms and the future of the profession, it would be tough to assemble a better, more knowledgeable group.”
Dixie McCurley will be presenting a session entitled, “OK, I’m In the Cloud…Now How Do I Collaborate?” in which she will share her approach to collaboration in a digital world. “It is paramount to understand your clients’ needs first and then use your expertise to tailor a plan to help them achieve their goals,“ she shares.
Never able to fully identify with the stuffy title of “accountant,” Dixie McCurley set out to revolutionize accounting practices for small- to medium-sized businesses by offering a new way of thinking about process. With a unique method that capitalizes upon the latest technology, she walks each client through the company’s pain points.
Experienced in a wide range of industries, Dixie provides innovative solutions to inefficient accounting in her role as co-founder and partner at Trusted CFO Solutions, LLC. She aims to be a trusted advisor to help her clients make better, faster business decisions; a partner who listens, understands their needs, and tailors advice to each individual situation.
A key area of interest for Dixie is client engagement and collaboration in the world of digital financial technology. This is Dixie’s second year at the Digital CPA Conference; last year she lent her expertise as a panelist to two sessions – “What It Means to Be a Digital CPA” and “Creating an Industry Vertical Niche In Your Client Accounting Services Practice.”
